Plus all deck control functions can be triggered remotely using the Ethernet network. The large machined metal search dial supports shuttle, jog and scroll so you can find clips fast. The buttons have been custom designed by Blackmagic Design for the highest quality. There are other buttons for playback, to cue to the start of the clip and to move to the next clip. Simply press the record button and you instantly start recording the video input to a file. It will record in the file format that has been set in the record menu. The buttons are similar to a traditional broadcast deck. HyperDeck Shuttle includes a control panel that's very fast to use. ATEM switchers can even remote control HyperDeck Shuttle via Ethernet. After playing, you can use the clip button to stop the playback at the end of the clip. Then you can use the previous clip button to cue to the start of the clip. The Pro Recorder allows you to save your old memories as digital files on your PC, converting old programming video formats into H.264 file format. Analog video inputs switch between component s-video and composite, and support SD and HD. Apart from capturing audio from the SDI, HDMI, or stereo balanced analog audio input jacks, you can also connect the recorder directly to HD or SD video sources as the SDI, HDMI, and capture from HDCAM, Digital Betacam, Betacam SP, DVD players, and more.
